Bullock’s Bourbon

The Bullock Distillery’s high rye bourbon is a marriage of seven of our six-year barrel-aged bourbons, selected by our Head Distillers, Adam Anderson and Scott Ferris, alongside expert bourbon connoisseurs. You’ll find the traditional notes of vanilla, tannin, and burnt sugars, as well as nuts, dried fruit, leather, and a few other pleasant surprises.

This fantastic small-batch is now award winning! We are unbelievably proud to announce that our small-batch was awarded the coveted Double Gold Designation by the San Francisco World Spirits Competition – the only West Virginia distillery to take home a Double Gold this year. As a result, every bottle has earned the right to bear the prestigious designation. This competition is the largest in North America, with thousands of entries, but only dozens of Double Golds.

“The Double Gold designation is awarded to the very few entries that receive Gold medal ratings by all members of the judging panel. These are among the finest products in the world.”

What makes our little distillery have some of the finest whiskeys in the world? We think it’s our Greenbrier County Karst water and attention to detail that sets us apart. But YOU decide! Come pick up a bottle that is helping put West Virginia on the world map for whiskey!

Jupiter Gin – The Elk City Mural Series

The Bullock Distillery’s Jupiter Gin is a special, three-part series of single-barrel releases of our Jupiter gin.

While selecting barrels for our Batched Barrel Rested Gin, three barrels stood out. These three barrels are our very best barrels of gin, and deserve to be enjoyed on their own. We are proud to bring them to you as such.

These fantastic single barrels are also award winners! Our Jupiter Gins received the Gold designation at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. We hope you’ll stop in to sample and take a bottle home!

Juniper Gin bottle types

“Barrel of Dusta” and “Barrel of John & Ellen” are single barrels of gin that have been rested in used rye barrels for over 4 years, imparting much of the sweet burnt sugars, honey, and oaky notes of straight rye, without overpowering the juniper, cardamom, and other botanicals of a traditional gin.

This release is in honor of Charly Stuart Jupiter Hamilton (1948-2021) and features his artwork on the label. Charly’s art brought joy to the world and his friends in West Virginia. One dollar of every bottle sold will be donated to Charly’s favorite nonprofit organizations – The Roark Sullivan Lifeway Center and The Humane Society.

Come see Charly’s “West Side Wonder” mural a few doors down the street from the Distillery. It is incredible.

White Dog Moonshine

top gold border
White Dog Moonshine

The Bullock Distillery is bringing the craft of distilling out of the shadows of the moon’s shine into daylight using West Virginian grain and sweet Karst water from Bullock’s Cave in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.

Our White Dog Moonshine is as West Virginian as it gets. Made from 100% corn, grown in Mason County, West Virginia, and cool, fresh Karst limestone water from Bullock’s Cave, WV, this 100 Proof “likker” will make you proud to call yourself a Mountaineer (as if you needed any more reasons).

The name and image are inspired by one of our employees, Paddy Scout Bullock, Head of Security and Morale. You’ve probably been jumped up on by her if you’ve visited our distillery. She’s fierce.

Pick one up for your next tailgate, or to pass around the bonfire with your pals. There’s more than one way to warm up by a bonfire!

Unlike other ‘shines you may have had, we make our distiller’s cuts well into the heart, and well before the tails, only bringing the sweetest and best parts to your glass.

Does it cost more that way? Sure. But we know that if we focus on quality, our products speak for themselves.

As the label says, this dog ain’t got no bite!

Leblanc Vodka

top gold border
Bullock Distillery Leblanc Vodka

Named after the Bullock’s great-great-grandfather, Gaspard Leblanc, Québécois-Canadian veteran of World War I, this French-inspired beverage is distilled from 100% grapes, unusual for a vodka. We distill the vodka twice in our pot still to retain the spirit of the grapes, and then a third time in our unique column still to achieve 190 Proof. We let it rest in a stainless steel tank for a month to mellow. We then proof it down to 80 using our pure Karst cave water from Bullock’s Cave in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.

Our Leblanc Vodka was awarded the Silver designation at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Proofing with our sweet Karst water removes much of the heat normally associated with vodka. This is some of the smoothest vodka you’ll ever try!

We enjoy this spirit in a traditional Bloody Mary, but for a West Virginia spin, try it with our Bloody Bullock’s Bloody Mary mix, available in our tasting room and our online store.

But for a truly West Virginia Bloody Mary, garnish with a local ramp, some J.Q. Dickinson salt from our neighbors up the Kanawha Valley, and stick a pepperoni roll on a skewer!
